OFFICIAL ROWING
This is the highly demanding competitive rowing team that represents us in local regattas of the official calendar and in international regattas as part of the National Team.
Training every day: at the National Rowing Track and in our fully equipped fitness center.
Rowers from 15 years of age who have been trained at the Rowing School and have experience in regattas participate.
The regatta season starts in the second half of March in Tigre and concludes in the second half of November with the Argentine Rowing Championship.
Our work philosophy is to develop honest people, with principles, and to work with them to help them improve as rowers and as persons, regardless of the results. People with dignity and integrity. We want to leave a mark, to help them achieve their dreams, to accompany them along the way and to ensure that they retire from the sport with the satisfaction of having given all they can. Rowing works as an excuse to teach and then become someone. That is the highest success we can have as coaches and as a club.
Agustín Rocha Cano
Director and Coach of the Rowing Team of the Buenos Aires Rowing Club from 2015 to date. Titles obtained as coach: more than 150 Official Regattas and 34 Argentine Championships.
Coach of the School and Pre-team of BARC from 1997 to 2015.
BARC rower from 1986 to 1996. Titles obtained as a rower:
10 Argentine Championships.
1 South American Junior Championship
5 South American Lightweight Championships
3 Fourth places in Pan American Games
2 participations in Lightweight World Championships.
Representative in Olympic Games Atlanta 1996.
